An oldstyle bodega (liquor store, opened in 1914), with homemade vermouth and beer. Quimet is the diminutive of a catalan name (Joaquim), the name of the owner and his son. (that got this from their grandpa and father, named Quimet too!).
In Quimet&quimet, loads of bottles of wine to palate or to carry on, and a lot of references from around the world are waiting for you. It’s really worth it! When recommending places to people coming to bcnKITCHEN, I always tell them to go there and try some of their best montaditos (different combinations of ingredients on top of a crunchy toast).
Please, don’t leave the place without tasting the yogurt, salmon and truffle honey montadito. Quality of the ingredients is a 10! You can as well buy canned food that you like to take with you back to your country: sardines in brine, anchovies, truffle honey…
