One of the areas not to be missed, el Born was originally createdin the XIII century as the active area in the city, and nowadays ours&#8217; is still one of the most full of live neighbourhoods.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We, in bcnKITCHEN, are lucky to be\u00c2\u00a0located in\u00c2\u00a0one of the streets\u00c2\u00a0surrounding\u00c2\u00a0the old\u00c2\u00a0Mercado del\u00c2\u00a0Born, nowadays a museum around barcelona history.\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong>The centerpiece of the area is the\u00c2\u00a0impressive Santa\u00c2\u00a0Mar\u00eda\u00c2\u00a0del Mar\u00c2\u00a0church, in front of a lovely square\u00c2\u00a0in\u00c2\u00a0which good tapas\u00c2\u00a0and wine\u00c2\u00a0bars are found.\u00c2\u00a0Behind the church, and heading to Mercado del Born, lies the\u00c2\u00a0area&#8217;s main street, Paseo\u00c2\u00a0del Born,\u00c2\u00a0which is lined with\u00c2\u00a0cozy bars\u00c2\u00a0and restaurants offering\u00c2\u00a0a rich and wide variety\u00c2\u00a0of international cuisines and local tapas and platillos.<\/p>\n<p>The area\u00c2\u00a0borders (<strong>Gothic Quarter<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0and the port) are\u00c2\u00a0within 15\u00c2\u00a0minutes walk from\u00c2\u00a0the cathedral\u00c2\u00a0and <strong>Las Ramblas, <\/strong>and these 15 minutes will be enough to get just in the middle of the ancient town, one of the most important neighbourhoods of the city from the XIII century to the XVIII, walking by it you can feel the history, get to know one of the most beautiful and interesting churchs, buy in some of the nicest shops in town and just go for a walk around&#8230;maybe you can even come and visit us!!;)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El Born has been transformed in recent years to become one of the trendiestneighborhoods of Barcelona.
